About

Thirty years where the wrong call gets people hurt.

Guy Beveridge is an Army veteran, Law Enforcement Executive, and security professional. He has spent his career in environments where preparation decides outcomes. Now he brings that experience to the leaders responsible for keeping people safe.

The Moment Before the Moment

Guy's signature idea is simple: the decisive moment is not the crisis itself. It is the moment before. The day a leader chose to prepare, chose to train, chose to build a culture of readiness. That is where outcomes are determined.

He learned it leading soldiers in the Army. He proved it as a peace officer and as a security contractor in Iraq, Africa, and other austere environments around the world. He scaled it at Walmart, where he was responsible for thousands of employees and millions of square feet across eight logistics distribution centers. And he lives it today as a serving Law Enforcement Executive in Coryell County, Texas.

Guy does not sell fear. He names the real stakes, then equips you to meet them. Since 1995 he has trained more than 5,000 professionals, including 1,500+ church safety personnel. He wrote Before Crisis, sits on the IACDP board writing the industry's first safety standard for child activity centers, and taught himself to code so he could build ShieldOps, the safety platform he could not find anywhere else.

Author. Speaker. Operator. Advisor.

The Record

Experience That Matters

U.S. Army, 1989 to 1997

Staff Sergeant. Eight years leading soldiers, where Guy learned the discipline that still drives his work: preparation decides outcomes long before the moment arrives.

Law Enforcement, Central Texas

Peace officer with Temple PD and Copperas Cove PD, rising to Sergeant, earning Officer of the Year in 2001, and now chief of a Texas law enforcement agency. Threat assessment, de-escalation, and crisis response as a daily job, not a theory.
